Résumé de la thèse

The global environment is governed by a set of legal norms that are continuously developed through various processes. In her dissertation, Tamara Grigoras argues that the lending activities of World Bank—which has become increasingly involved in international environmental politics—are among such processes. Defending this argument, the project theorizes the ways in which the environmental practice generated by World Bank’s lending processes contribute to the further development of international environmental law.
