Description

As part of broader efforts to promote scholarly exchanges in the field of intellectual property (IP), and recognizing the unique role of Geneva as an international hub for IP law and policy, the IPRE (organized by the School of Law of the University of Geneva (UNIGE), in collaboration with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the World Trade Organization (WTO)) is an initiative that seeks to provide an opportunity for IP scholars to present and discuss their work-in-progress with IP researchers from several other jurisdictions world-wide, as well as to facilitate dialogue and engagement between scholars and policy makers and other IP experts. While the IPRE features presentations focusing primarily, but not exclusively, on European-based research, the focus of IPRE is to promote a wider comparative and international dialogue. Presenters are exposed to feedback and comments from experts from jurisdictions across the world.
